You, as the Mentee, make the decisions because no advisor can really claim to understand the full detail of any business more than you as the owner. The process of making a decision, however, can be a very lonely and isolated place to be in when colleagues and employees are not receptive to your vision to move your business forward for a competitive and profitable future.
Owning and managing a business of any size is, in equal parts, a very emotional draining and uplifting experience. We work closely and in partnership with our Mentee’s sharing their highs and lows. Such approach allow Mentee’s to feels at ease, to be open and experience the pastoral support mentoring can engender releasing the Mentee to be fully empowered and confident with the decisions that they make for their business.
Businesses at their core have the ideal of providing a service or developing a product for their market and need to interpret and understand how to maximise the opportunities that such service or product can realise for them.
Time needs to be spent realising and understanding the internal supply chain and how it can be improved for efficient performance, quality of delivery and process. This approach will deliver a sound shock resistant business supported by employees and managers who work together for the benefit of the stakeholders in the business.
We sit alongside our Mentees during their planning and implementation of their strategies and plans for their business. We help and aid our Mentees to test their plans with the aim of identifying problems before implementation -
