Who is MiMentor?
MiMentor is the trading name and brand of Paul Wood, MA. Paul has over 35 years management experience in mainly the legal sector and public service.
Paul’s experience is recognised by his MA attained in Practice Management at the University of Wolverhampton. The process of academic learning required to attain the MA enabled Paul to underpin his experience with knowledge and academic rigour.
It is Paul’s firm belief that the best managers understand the wider picture of the issue to be addressed, can see through the emotion of the situation and realise a coherent and well thought out strategy to advance a business, often taking the opportunity borne from a seemingly difficult position.
From a sound consistent career base in the legal sector Paul has wide ranging knowledge and experience in how to grow and develop a business based on the key requirements of continuous improvement, quality of delivery and customer relationship.
Key skills that Paul brings to an Mentee’s business are:

In Paul’s experience it is more often the internal workings and processes of the business that are the main and often critical weakness which challenge the owner.
Therefore time needs to be spent realising and facing up to the internal supply chain and how it can be improved for efficiency, performance, quality of delivery and process. This approach will deliver a sound shock resistant business supported by employees and managers who work together for the benefit of the stakeholders in the business.
